DUTCH UNCLES - 'CADENZA'...
My dreaded dissertation is consuming every minute of my life at the moment, so posts over the next month or so will pretty much consist of just content and no opinion from yours truly. You probably don't give a shit anyway!
Here's 'Cadenza', the title track from Dutch Uncles' debut album out 25th April on Memphis Industries.

Directed by Anthony Crook. This video instantly made me think of Rene Magritte's painting 'The Son of Man'. Intentional???...

NEW ARCTIC MONKEYS ALBUM...
Arctic Monkeys announce that their fourth album will be released Monday 6th June 2011 and is called 'Suck It & See'. Charming.
If 'Brick by Brick' is anything to go by, then I think this album will throw another spanner in the works amongst "traditional" Monkeys fans much like 'Humbug' did. I still contest with those people that 'Humbug' is a brilliant album, & a very forward thinking record by the band. Stupidly excited about this album.

NEW WILD BEASTS - 'ALBATROSS'
'Albatross' is taken from the new Wild Beasts album 'Smother' which sees a UK release on 9th May on Domino.
This song is superb in my opinion. The instrumentation isn't very dynamic, but the reverbed piano, guitar, simplistic drums and occasional James Blake-esque synth bass work in perfect harmony to create a beautifully ambient song. All this topped off by Hayden's forever unique falsetto. An excellent teaser to the forthcoming album.
